Kimberly Rose Designs
This morning, the ESA partnered with Kimberly Rose Designs in our first effort to support a fellow entrepreneur. Kimberly is a sophomore at Temple who makes jewelry and clothing out of recycled materials, and donates 60% of her proceeds towards non-profit organizations. Her current goal is to send 2 children with cancer to Camp Okizu, a Northern Californian Summer Camp. Kimberly spread out her wide array of jewelry over fabric, and draped earrings over a tree inspired jewelry stand. The morning started off with us discussing which materials went into which pieces: the recycled paper in this necklace, or the beach pebbles from Kimberly’s recent vacation to the Dominican Republic which now decorated that necklace. Kimberly won over the hearts of women looking for jewelry and men in search of presents for their mothers and girlfriends alike. If you missed out on Kimberly’s sale today, she will be selling jewelry again at this year’s Social Entrepreneurship Conference on April 8th, 2010.
